Eight years of my childhood were spent as a missionary kid in Bolivia, South America, which is where I began to appreciate the art of cooking and making things from scratch. My husband, Matt, and I recently celebrated our 10 year wedding anniversary. We have three little kids and are foster parents in Siloam Springs, Arkansas, where we run our own home building business.

My recipe this year is inspired by the classic steak and potato combination. I wanted to come up with a hearty recipe that would satisfy my husband’s love of steak and bring it to a new delicious level. Fresh rosemary and lime zest brighten up the rich buttery ribeye. The Beringer Founders’ Estate Malbec pairs perfectly with the smoky grilled rib eye. It rounds out the meal and leaves a smooth finish.
